The Board of Directors voted and approved the following at the February Board meeting:

Effective March 1, all microchip implants MUST be done by a licensed vet and the vet must sign the implantation forms provided by CHSA. We have had horses showing up without microchips that owners have signed off on as having been implanted. The requirement of vet implantation will make certain the chips are implanted correctly and lessen the risk they might “travel”.

The Annual Meeting of the Caspian Horse Society of the Americas is held each year at 2pm Central on the third Saturday of September at Eastland Suites, 1801 Eastland Drive, Bloomington, Illinois.  All Members in good standing and entitled to vote, may participate in the meeting and have a right to vote by Proxy or in person.  You may receive a Proxy by writing to the CHSA Office at 29056 E. 1200 North Rd., Ellsworth, IL. 61737.  Proxies must be on file in the CHSA Office no later than 20 days prior to the meeting.
